We had an amazing time with the retro fridge stocked up and the cozy firepits creating a perfect atmosphere. The A/C worked like a dream, keeping us cool despite the Texas heat. Loved the layout and vibe of the place!

The Deluxe King Room was super comfy, with a cozy vibe. The beds were really nice, and I loved having a full-size fridge. Plenty of space to move around! The bathroom had great natural lighting too. But breakfast could use more options, especially for gluten-free folks. Just a little more variety would be cool.

The hotel nails that retro luxury vibe with spacious rooms and beautiful decor. Loved kicking back in the outside rocking chairs and enjoying the lively atmosphere around the fire pits.
Noise can be a real issue—the atrium layout lets sound travel easily, making it hard to escape the chatter of guests late at night. Parking's tight, especially if you're rolling in with a larger vehicle after dark, which can get a bit frustrating.

It was just a suitable option for a cursory stop in Austin with attractive and competitive value for money. Winnie at the restaurant was super friendly and remembered us from our last visit. Bring earplugs if you want to sleep before 11PM.

I really liked the outdoor seating area with the fireplace, creating a cozy vibe in the evenings. The live music added to the fun atmosphere and made it enjoyable to relax after a long day. The parking had convenient charging stations for my electric car, which was a big plus. However, the dining experience at the Water Trough restaurant was lacking. There were long waits for food, and staff seemed a bit disorganized. I waited quite a while just for a drink order. Also, breakfast options were limited, and on two occasions, I found the food trays empty. It would be great if they could improve the communication regarding ordering at the bar and ensure that food is replenished during breakfast hours. The rooms were spacious, and I appreciated the retro decor, especially the SMEG fridge. Overall, a solid stay with a few hiccups in service that could be easily fixed.

The hotel offers a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff and great amenities. The outdoor pool is inviting, and having a bar with live music enhances the experience. However, the walls are thin, and noise from other guests can be disruptive at times. While the hotel ambiance is charming, the food could use improvement.

Couple seeking relaxation will love this place
The stay here was just amazing. We had this great outdoor area, you know, with rocking chairs and fire pits – it was like being out in nature, just peaceful. And the live music at night? It was something else, brought us back to life after a long day.
It was on the pricier side, but worth it for the experience.

We had a wonderful family getaway here! The dog-friendly environment was perfect for our large breed pup. The fire pits provided a cozy spot to wind down after a day exploring Austin's parks and live music scene, which was family-friendly and vibrant.
My wife says that the pool was too busy at times. It’d be great to have more family-friendly activities during the day.

We checked out the nearby dog parks and enjoyed the fabulous weather. Sitting by the fire pit at night was a highlight. The breakfast included made-to-order items and was much better than your average hotel fare. I highly recommend this place for location and a laid-back atmosphere!
The beds were a bit small for sharing. A queen would have been much better for our group as we were three friends staying in a double room.

A Memorable Stay with Excellent Service
My stay was a lovely retreat! The cozy bed made for a restful night, and the complimentary robe was a delightful touch. The staff, especially Ms. Wennie, went above and beyond with her kindness. For a nice dinner, explore nearby restaurants. just note breakfast has limited options.
